You have intellectually destroyed the divinity of Islam which its followers claim of. I was born as a Muslim and used to be a firm believer until I realized that the religion made me hate myself for being queer. Later, I found many incoherence to science and rationality in the religion.

There was an article in An injustice! of Medium about how Hijab is a personal choice not an imposition. Woman often do not realize their power and make themselves a puppet of Patriarchy. Patriarchy use religion to control women and destroy anything out of the man-woman binary that they cannot understand.

I used to hate myself and thought of suicide multiple times. But, the irony is that this very same religion prohibited suicide! I identify now as a rationalist who is struggling with his/her family's Islamic fundamentalism on one side and his/her country's Hindu extremism on the other. I found Ambedkarism last year and now I believe,

'Religion is for man not man for religion. The moment it becomes the latter it defeats its own purpose. It will become corrupt and despondent'
